DCMA Alternative Release Program
PDI and KWD participate in an Alternative Release Program through DCMA. This program is for contractors who have demonstrated the capability to maintain a proven Quality System.
PDI's ISO 9001:2015 Certification (cert. 99-1613k) was issued by Intertek in January 2021. Our Quality Management System is specifically applicable to the design, development and manufacture of Munitions Handling Units, weapons handling/transport/storage and counter-measure systems, and other ground support equipment.

PDI has manufactured over 3,000 MHU-110/M and MHU-141/M munitions trailers through Foreign Military Sales and Direct Commercial Sales programs, including programs managed by PROS IV and V, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, BAE Systems and others.

PDI has consistently earned awards for quality and timeliness of deliveries through the Defense Supply Center (DSC) offices in Columbus, Richmond and Virginia. PDI currently contains a 95% DLA rating for all contracts delivered between in 2020.
